creating educational and livelihood opportunities for the girl child in the Yakutpura slums; the primary activities of the project are education for working and non-school going children, vocational education for adolescent girls. |
| Education—a joyful and continuous journey |
facilitating education for underprivileged children. Under this project, Transactional Centres were set up for children and training was provided to teachers in 16 schools. |
| Continuing education for children and women programme |
facilitating education for underprivileged children from the Karwan area in the old city of Hyderabad, and promotion of thrift and credit activity for women, increasing literacy among women, lobbying with the government for activity sustainability and interventions with unorganised sectors. |
